About Me

I had to do a lot of thinking before constructing this page. I’m not one to brag about myself, and that’s not what this blog is even for. They say an “About Me” should be a description of your personality and accomplishments. But does any of that really matter?

To me, nicknames are a sign of trust. I call people by their nicknames to remind them that they 100_7307 can trust me, too, and expect them to call me by mine if they feel the same way. I’ve lived in the same house and neighborhood my entire life, and am very fortunate to have two loving parents, a brother, and a kitty cat named Domino. They support me in everything I do, and I love them to pieces for it.

I’m going to my dream college in the fall, and expect to have the time of my life there. I’m very thankful to have everything that I do–an education, friends, and dreams like becoming a professional writer. God has given me so much, and I have never taken any of it for granted.

I’m the biggest dork ever. I love Star Wars, particularly the Clone Wars era, and I fill up journals on average every two months. I’m probably on Facebook much more than anyone ever needs to be. I love to sing and write music, aside from reading and, of course, writing. It’s impossible to get to know me just from reading things I write. I’m a completely different person when pulling words from my mind and heart. People I know have read my work and gone, “Meg? YOU wrote this?”

I’m addicted to smiling, love Twizzlers, and have a guitar named Jason. My current residence is my favorite place in the entire world. Someday, I hope to write and publish books that will change peoples’ lives.
