I love it when I waste a good fifteen minutes of my morning so that I can spend a much-needed hour practicing for voice lessons, only to find out (after I’ve gotten dressed, bundled up, probably woken up my roommate, walked over to the music building, and walked all the way upstairs) that someone has decided to lock all of the practice rooms. Apparently, 7:30AM is no longer a good time to practice. And apparently, having no one sitting desk when I need a key is a wonderful new idea. So even though the only times I can practice fall between the hours of 7AM and 8:30AM, that’s just not going to happen.
And if anyone thinks that I’m going to come back to my room, wait until 8:00, and practice until 9, well, I think you know the answer to that one. I make schedules for a reason. Don’t get in my way.
People are so worth my time.
